Adding our domain/email to your Safe Senders list in Gmail will reduce the chance of a bounced email from us.
To add a safe sender in Gmail, go to your Settings (gear icon), then See all settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses. Create a new filter, enter the sender's email or domain in the "From" field, and click Create filter. On the next screen, select Never send it to spam and then click Create filter again to save your changes.
Step-by-step instructions:
- Log in: to your Gmail account on a desktop browser.
- Click the gear icon (Settings) in the top-right corner.
- Select See all settings from the dropdown menu.
- Click on the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
- Click the Create a new filter button.
- In the From field, enter the email address or domain name you want to add to your safe senders list. (@sterlingedgefinancial.com)
- Click the Create filter button to proceed.
- In the next window, check the box next to Never send it to spam. You can also choose to mark emails as important or star them.
- Click Create filter one last time to finalize the filter and add the sender to your safe senders list.
This process ensures that emails from that specific address or domain will bypass your spam folder and land directly in your inbox.
